Went to the opening of this exhibition last night and what a breath of fresh air it was. I particularly enjoyed talking to Rebecca Molloy and Nina Rodin and seeing their collaborative painting piece. It was also great to hear about Nina's Trelex Residency in Switzerland. The books on exhibition were great and I'm certainly going to look into the possibility of going on the residency.

Another highlight was meeting Manchester based artist David Gledhill. I know his work but have never met him and it was good to talk about the my paint club idea and the painting concerns we share.
